Blog about my experiences of publishing a (mobile) website / web app made for children (my son actually) to one of the App Marketplaces - Google Play, App Store, App Hub etc. The starting point is a Safari browser-based iLearnPad app based on the "LeapPad" toy from Leapfrog made from html5, css and jQTouch.js. The result a cross browser app made from html5, css, Backbone.js, Underscore.js and last but not least jQuery-Mobile.js.

Useful link for me that confirmed the way to go, at least in the short term
http://vagabondrev.org/2011/03/23/37/
For me the pointer is:
"HTML 5 can provide an elegant, cost-effective solution to many cross-platform problems, and I counsel my clients to take a long, hard look at it as a first step in any assessment of their mobile application strategy."
So in the short term we´re going to be developing in HTML5, CSS and jQueryMobile for as much cross browser support as possible.
